What would your job be like?
You will ensure that our embedded terminal, an application that runs inside the multifunction printer, works flawlessly. You will test the work done by the developers in the sprint and also perform smoke or full testing of the terminal before release. You will create test cases for new features and fixed bugs.
Over time, you should become intimately familiar with all MyQ features and the technical details of printers. It's not an easy task, we cover almost 10 brands, each with its own gotchas.
What we expect from you
- Experience with manual user interface testing.
- Experience with test management systems such as TestRail or Testomat.io.
- Knowledge of computer technologies such as HTTP, TLS, certificates, virtual machines.
- Analytical person with an inner desire to break things.
- Ability to work in a team, easily discussing with other team members any question or doubt that may be on your mind.
- Willingness to learn.
- English at a level that allows you to easily discuss work-related topics.
Nice to have
- Experience with testing of embedded devices with user interface and networking.
- Experience with REST API testing using tools such as Postman.
