Hybrid workplace

Quota

Various limits can be set in the MyQ Admin interface to control printing costs, e.g. by restricting the number of printable pages per day / week / month or allowing only monochrome printing for certain (groups of) users.

Credit

Easy Scan

Central server

The nuclear part of a multi-server architecture. It is the main controlling server for various site servers that are connected to it. Metadata

"Data about other data”. In the context of printing, metadata provide details about the printed document, such as the size, format, or number of pages. 

As far as scanning goes, metadata can inform about the document's author, version, parametres, name of organization, and more – and these can help deliver the scanned file to the right place in the company's document workflow system (DMS).

Public cloud

MFP

Multifunction printer – an all-in-one device (also known as MFD, multifunction device), larger than a “basic” printer, which covers most printing needs of a common office. It usually combines the functions of a printer, photocopier, scanner, and even fax, and is controlled from a terminal.
