Our HQ in Prague is looking for a Technical Writer with previous experience with technical writing in a software company to join our Team!
What would your job be like?
As a Technical Writer, you will be part of a development team consisting of the product owner, developers and testers. You responsibility will be to maintain our documentation so it’s up-to-date and complete. The documentation must clearly explain the fundamental concepts behind the product and our solutions to problems users are facing.
This is not an easy task as our product is pretty technical and complex! But don’t worry we will help you to understand everything as long as you are not afraid to get your hands dirty :)
What we expect from you
- Experience with writing documentation for software products used by network administrators or another power users
- Experience with writing user guides, release notes and articles about advanced technical concepts
- Experience with defining and following a documentation style guide
- Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English with precise grammar including the ability to write easily understandable and sensibly structured texts
- Logical and analytical thinking
- Basic understanding of fundamental IT concepts like networking, security, API, cloud, operating systems
Nice to have
- Experience with SCRUM
- Experience with Confluence
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with UX design
- Experience with diagram and schematics editors
