Quocirca’s Future of Document Capture study, conducted in October 2023, reveals an ongoing shift to ‘less paper’ environments boosted by a drive to improve efficiency and lower environmental impact. Today few organisations are fully paperless because of ongoing use of paper documents by customers and suppliers, legal obligations to maintain paper records, and the requirement for physical signatures. However, in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, this ongoing reliance on paper could place organisations at a competitive disadvantage in the future.
